Cindy McCoy Benefit Concert and Auction
Sunday, October 27, 2013 8:30 PM

A Night in Honor of Cindy McCoy Benefit Show and Silent Auction at The Swiss
Cindy McCoy is a mother and an aunt, a friend to many and a beloved nanny to a few. She has battled and survived breast cancer twice before, and lost her son tragically in 2005. Though Cindy has felt her share of heartache, her faith in our lord Jesus Christ is everlasting. Her kindness and compassion has touched many people over the years and it is our hope that you’ll join us in returning the favor. After learning of Cindy’s diagnosis with stage IV spindle cell sarcoma, her friends and loved ones decided to plan an evening of music and entertainment in her honor.  Doug McCoy and Mooseunit, AKA Liquid Courage, will perform along with The Voice's Vicci Martinez and Zero Love. A silent auction will also be held with items that include a private performance by Vicci Martinez, $1000 Home Depot gift card with three days of labor, a custom-made gun safe, artwork, and window tinting. Please join us on Sunday October 27th at 4pm to celebrate a wonderful and influential member of our community. All proceeds will go directly to Cindy McCoy.

Halloween Party
Saturday, October 26, 2013 8:30 PM

Moose Unit (MooseUnit.com) will be rocking a Halloween party at the Moose Lodge in North Bend Saturday October 26th 8:30 PM. This show is open to our friends and family and will only cost you a couple cans of food or $3 at the door. The food drive will benefit a local food bank so feel free to bring extra if you want. During a break in the tunes we will be conducting a best costume contest so dress in your most outrageous costume to win fame and fortune…or at least envy from the other party goers. The lodge has a full bar and they usually have some food during events. There is pool in the back and plenty of room on the floor to get your groove on. Come join us for a great time Saturday October 26th starting at 8:30 PM. This is a 21 and over show.

The Bite of Seattle get's ROCKED by the Moose!
That's right fans.  The band kicked some Seattle ass at the 2013 Bite on the mural stage.  John is calling this the "Overcoming Adversity Tour" since we suffered the loss of the main vocal mic, his guitar and Tony's bass all in the first 5 minutes of the show.  No worries though my friends.  Brad and Shane kept composed and rocked through unfazed. Tony re-routed cables to bypass the problem and John took over Tony's mic.  The band had to cut Queen of the sad land out of the set since John's amp wasn't working but that was the only impact.

Huge thanks goes out to the families, co-workers and friends that came out to see us play.  It was a Friday at noon show so lots of people had to get out of work to be there.  That really means a lot to us all.  Thank you!

We should also thank the guy in front of the stage that did some serious air guitar and singing, homeless sprinkler head shaker guy for entertaining the folks in the grass area and karate grandpa guy that was pulling some seriously cool karate/dance moves towards the end of the set.  Wow!  These cats really know how to have a good time.  I can't say for sure they were fully cognizant of their actions or if they were self medicated but I think they had as much fun as we did.  Way to rock it dudes.

Last, but not least, we thank Zopfi Production LLC for booking us at the event.  Linda knows how to entertain so if you have the chance to work with her do it!
